Privacy
Short version: I do not ask you for anything, and I do not have an account system. The longer version is below, because advertising is involved.
What I collect directly
Nothing you type. There is no login, no comment form, no newsletter signup on this site. If you email me, I have your email address and whatever you wrote, and I keep it in my mailbox like any other correspondence. I do not add it to any list.
My web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, requested page, timestamp) as part of normal operation. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own for ordinary visitors. The only cookie the site itself can set is a session cookie for me when I sign in to write, on a page you cannot reach.
Advertising
Some pages carry advertising served by Google AdSense. This means third parties, including Google, may place and read cookies on your device, or use similar technologies such as web beacons, to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Analytics
If analytics are running on this site, they are configured to measure page views in aggregate, not to build a profile of you.
Links out
I link to other people's sites regularly. Once you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies, not this one.
Children
This site is written for a professional adult audience and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revision date at the top of this page changes with it.
